There are several objectives to accomplish the above mentioned goal (table below). Synthesis methods will be established for the preparation of untraditional multicomponent colloidal quantum dots (CQD) using non-toxic transition metals. In parallel, the graphene’s synthesis will be conducted via ultrasonic and electrochemical exfoliation. Another crucial aspect, from fundamental point of view, is the efficient approach of linking between the CQDs and graphene. Detailed investigations are required regarding the composites’ crystal and molecule structure, morphology, optical and electrochemical characteristics etc., which are of a great importance for the future innovative technological applications.
